KIWIRAIL OTAIHANGA LEVEL CROSSING WORKS

Kiwirail is doing essential maintenance and renewal work on the Otaihanga Road level crossing, from Friday Dec 26th to Mon Jan 5th. While they install a new concrete level crossing, the crossing by Southward Car Museum will be completely closed 24/7 to all traffic. This means you’ll have to detour via Kapiti Rd/Ratanui Rd in Paraparaumu.

As per usual for this time of the year, all Metlink trains are bus-replaced.
